Service 1st Federal Credit Union employees recently gathered to celebrate the holiday season and share in the spirit of giving by continuing a fun tradition that supports Toys for Tots.
“Service 1st employees look forward to this tradition each year,” said Nicole Hoyes, Assistant Branch Manager, Service 1st Corporate Center. “We get great gifts for our co-workers and then donate them to this worthy cause.”
Each year, employees volunteer to secretly find a toy that best represents the interests of a fellow colleague. The wrapped toys are presented to employees during their holiday gathering. Stories are shared as they unwrap the gift. The unwrapped toys are then packaged and sent from the celebration to Toys for Tots to ensure a magical Christmas for local children.
This year, over 70 employees participated in this special gift exchange.
