1). Take the Service 1st Community Savings Challenge. You’ll start with a financial checkup and help a local charity at the same time.

2). Schedule a financial checkup annually. It’s a great habit to start. Schedule at the beginning of the new year, around your birthday or even day light savings time. 3). Get savvy about money. Check out SavvyMoney for some great budgeting tools, short educational videos and more.

4).  Take advantage of teachable moments for toddlers or teens and some great resources. Check out the links below, but remember a simple trip to the grocery store or a conversation about chores, or the topic of needs vs. wants, can easily turn in to awesome educational moments and great conversations.

5). Watch for seminar announcements. Check out our news and events section from time to time to rsvp for upcoming seminars. We are also out and about working in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and colleges to stress the importance of saving, offering fun eye-opening financial reality fairs and auto-buying seminars.
